Position: Account Executive

You will be selling our real-time visualization software and hardware solutions to large organizations. You will manage the entire sales process from prospect generation, qualification, demonstrations, proposals, to closing the sale. This position includes responding to RFIs and RFPs, conducting product demonstrations of our software, and negotiating final terms and conditions for acquisition of our solution.

Qualifications and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
5+ years selling at the business leader level
Enterprise sales with experience in managing opportunities using a formal sales process
2-3 years in a related space
Technical sales in Plant Floor Manufacturing and Plant Floor Automation Systems is preferred
Must be skilled in solution selling
Strong process and business acumen

Position: Inside Sales Representative

You will be selling our real-time visualization software and hardware solutions. These professionals will be responsible for generating client leads, cold calling potential clients to make contact and creating client interest from our office in Troy, Michigan. They will also maintain client information in the sales management system. The candidate will work in concert with pre-sales and sales professionals to grow the business.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree
2-5 years progressively responsible inside sales experience.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record of 30 or more calls per day.
An understanding of automated manufacturing is preferred

Position: Director of Marketing

The Director will develop and execute complete marketing plans for their assigned service segments, which start with a marketing strategy and extend to a list of specific deliverables and timing. Interpret market data into clear trends that validate their approach. Analyze quarterly ROI (Return On Investment) for all program activities. Forge close relationships with the services practice teams, solutions campaign and region marketing and sales teams to identify opportunities and risks and ensure the success of launches and field. The Director will plan and execute the marketing campaigns that address the customer needs of the marketplace across product brands, geographies, industries and customer segments. Manage the campaign development and program execution for all advertising, collateral, events, trade shows, direct marketing, Web seminars, Web micro sites, selling tools and off-the shelf programs. Implement innovative processes and creative solutions for better business practice. The Director will interpret market data into clear trends that validate their approach.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of business to business marketing in software and or services, or related technology. Experience with translating product capabilities into compelling business value/benefit positioning. Prior planning and project management experience, managing multiple priorities. Outstanding communication skills (written and oral). Excellent organizational, analytical and computer skills (MS Office preferred). Highly motivated, able to effectively manage change and lead as well as facilitate large cross-functional teams. An Ability to meet and/or exceed deadlines. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

Position: Software Developer

Job Functions:

Design and develop enhancements for real-time visualization software
Hands on development, testing, and deploying of the software
Participate in development cycle with team of developers

Mandatory Skills:

Several years of overall experience in developing applications
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience directly in C++ or VB programming
Familiar with DBMS systems and SQL.
Strong fundamentals of computer science, including knowledge of advanced data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Four-year or advanced degree in a technical field

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of LED marquee protocols
Knowledge of paging protocols
Experience with configuration management
Experience developing web applications
Experience in both Windows and Unix environments
Experience in designing for and testing under large data volumes and stress conditions

Position: Technical Support Representative

Job Functions:

This position is responsible for providing prompt and courteous front-end technical support for customers including answering complex questions on functionality and product usage and recreating customer problems.
Troubleshoots customer business problems and provides technical solutions. Several years of overall experience in developing applications
Works with SeQent development team to resolve escalated customer issues.
Writes and publishes technical notes to expand the knowledge base of SeQent’s products for internal and external customers.
Supports SeQent technical staff at customer engagements.
Investigates technical problems to determine the root cause, research and answer customer questions, and provide other front-end technical support activities.
Provides input to Development organization or Software Engineers on (possible) updates that are needed to ensure product or solution quality.

Mandatory Skills:

Minimum of 3 years technical support representative experience
Strong technical skills
Ability to research and analyze issues
Experience logging and tracking customer issues
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Four-year or advanced degree in a technical field

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of LED marquee protocols
Knowledge of paging protocols
