Ford Selects SeQent Products Marquee Manager and FirstPAGE in Their North American Plants

Troy, MI – December 29, 2007 – SeQent, the leading provider of innovative real-time condition monitoring, dispatch, and visualization software solutions, announced today that Ford Motor Company is proceeding with additional implementations of both Marquee Manager and FirstPAGE software products in several assembly and power-train manufacturing facilities in North America. The most recent implementation is the Kentucky Truck plant where the Ford F-450 super duty truck is produced.  Both Marquee Manager (LED / ANDON Displays) and FirstPAGE (Wireless Messaging) are the Ford standard for handling all plant floor messaging and communication as part of their Factory Information System (FIS), which includes SeQent products and Activplant’s performance management system (APMS).

Utilizing the logic and business rules already set up in APMS - the FIS solution sends real-time production, quality, and maintenance information via BlackBerrys®, cell phones, pagers, PDA's and LED displays. The business impact of this modular based system is increased productivity, improved quality, and a positive impact on human capital.
