General Motors Reports Rollout Proceeding in 2005

London, ON - January 2005 - NETCON announced that General Motors has begun plans to rollout Marquee Manager and Marquee Manager Gateway for CIMPLICITY to additional plants in 2005.

At the General Motors facilities in Shreveport, Louisiana, Lordstown, Ohio and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the beta test program has concluded and was a great success. The limitations of the integral CIMPLICITY supplied marquee driver make it a very difficult solution to rollout, configure and maintain. The Marquee Manager solution reduces configuration effort by a factor of 1000, and requires a much smaller system footprint for both processor and memory consumption.
