SeQent Releases FirstPAGE and FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateways for ODBC

These new products enable the polling of values from any ODBC compliant database, application of business rules against this data and dispatching a message directly to a messaging device or optionally raising an alarm for processing. These gateways enable you to send any value stored in an ODBC/SQL compliant database to one or more messaging devices.

Be informed with a detailed text message within seconds of a process/application event occurring wherever you are. Whether your data is stored in Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Ingres or DB2 you can use the FirstPAGE or FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for ODBC to forward this data to any text messaging devices.

Designed to satisfy the needs of a facility with a single database, architected to scale up to a multi-terabyte database facility, the FP Gateway for ODBC and FPAM Gateway for ODBC products can easily satisfy your alarming needs regardless of the size of your process.

Positioned as data monitoring tools, the FirstPAGE and FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateways for ODBC, when used in conjunction with FirstPAGE Server and FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Server, allow you to forward a message to an text messaging device when a process event occurs.
