SeQent Announces a New Customer Win in the Food & Beverage Industry

London, ON – October 1, 2014 – SeQent (www.SeQent.com), the leading provider of innovative real‑time Wireless Alarm & Event Notification and ANDON‑Industrial Digital Signage solutions announced that the world’s largest beverage company has been using a suite of FirstPAGE products in one of their beverage bottling facilities.

The Coca-Cola Company and its manufacturing plant in Paw Paw, Michigan where they bottle leading brands such as Minute Maid®, Hi‑C®, and POWERADE® have licensed several FirstPAGE and FirstPAGE Alarm Manager products including the FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for RSView®32™. The system is monitoring RSView®32™ Alarms & Events such as fans, tank/water levels, specialty chemical volumes, temperature and liquid levels and dispatching these Alarm & Event conditions to the new MOTOTRBO™ digital two-way radios.

“This is a unique project for SeQent as it involves a fortune 100 company as a customer and strategic partners Rockwell Automation and Motorola Solutions. The Coca‑Cola Company is currently using Rockwell Automation RSView®32™ HMI/SCADA solution for monitoring utilities, alarms and recently installed the new Motorola MOTOTRBO™ digital two-way radio system as a replacement for an aging one-way paging system” says Mike Tuohy, SeQent’s Business Development Manager.

SeQent is in the process of working with other Coca‑Cola facilities that are interested in deploying a similar proactive monitoring solution.
