FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Probe for SMS is designed to confirm SMS/carrier operation for alarm notification. For a mission-critical environment that relies on carrier-delivered SMS for event notification, the FPAM Probe for SMS can confirm the entire alarm notification path is functional, including SMS carrier operation. FPAM Probe for SMS is configured to monitor messages from one or more carrier SMS feeds, confirming message content and interval matches as specified in it’s configuration. Should a message not arrive in the required time frame, the Probe will initiate an alarm in FirstPAGE Alarm Manager, allowing for automated dispatch to selected destinations using an alternate network or notification method.

Using one or more FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Probe for SMS units placed strategically in areas where mobile carrier coverage and SMS notification is critical will ensure proactive notification of SMS receipt availability.
